Why should I join this program?

Improving your walking technique can enhance posture, movement efficiency, and overall health. This 6-week program provides expert guidance, real-time health tracking, and personalized medical support to help you walk better and feel better.

What health metrics will be tracked?

We will monitor key health indicators, including:

Cardiovascular Health – Blood pressure, resting heart rate 

Fitness & Movement – Step count, energy burned 

Sleep & Recovery – Sleep duration, weight changes 

Biomarkers – HS-CRP, Fructosamine, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides

What does the WalkActive program include?

For the first two weeks, you’ll receive daily video and audio content to improve your walking technique. For the remaining weeks, you’ll get weekly content with four guided audio coaching sessions. Additionally, you’ll have:

  • Weekly live video sessions with Joanna Hall (recordings available).
How does the enrollment process work?

1. Submit Your Pre-Registration Form

2. Receive a Confirmation Email

  • You’ll get an automated confirmation email outlining the next steps.

3. A Member from Apollo Will Contact You

  • Apollo will verify your insurance and guide you through the onboarding process.

4. Complete Your Pre-Program Health Check (Before April 25)

  • Get blood work done
  • Schedule a virtual consultation with Dr. Ghalchi

5. Official Registration & Program Start (April 25 – June 7)

  • Access all coaching, tutorials, and health tracking through Apollo’s platform.
Is everything virtual?

Yes! The entire program is online, including: 

Virtual consultations with Dr. Ghalchi 

Live coaching sessions with Joanna Hall 

Daily tutorial videos and audio coaching 

Wearable device tracking 

Feel supported with ongoing coaching and expert guidance

Do I need a wearable device?

Yes, a wearable device is required to track key health metrics.

  • If you already have a wearable (such as an Apple Watch, Fitbit, or Garmin), you can use it.
  • If you don’t have one, let us know during onboarding, and Apollo will assist in finding a solution.
How does health insurance factor into this program?
  • The $300 fee covers participation in the program, but medical services provided by Apollo are billed separately through insurance.
  • Most insurance plans, including Medicare, cover Apollo’s services.
  • Apollo will verify your insurance benefits during onboarding and inform you of any potential costs.
What happens after the program ends?

At the end of the program, you will:

  • Complete a virtual follow-up with Dr. Ghalchi
  • Receive a final health assessment based on wearable data and bloodwork
  • Get recommendations on maintaining and improving your progress

You will also have the option to continue as an Apollo patient for ongoing expert cardiology care and health support.
